W202 skeleton rattle noise underneath car
I’ve been getting a metal on metal noise coming from the underneath of the car. This gets more frequent at high speed.
it has been taken to both a merc specialist who checked it over and said that it could be the cats rattling. This was then taken to an exhaust shop who checked the cats / exhaust and said it was all fine.
the question is what could this noise be as it’s driving me mad? the only things I can really think it would be are something to with the prop / flex disc etc or maybe the heat shield being lose ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
