My 2000 C230 Kompressor would die if I didn't put my foot on the gas. Popped the hood and found this hose disconnected. The problem is fixed. What was the hose for?

 

Its the boost pipe you drive a kompressor it produces boost.

 

Thank you. I recently had the mass air flow sensor changed and I think the mechanic didn't tighten this hose up properly. It resulted in the engine dying at idling. Luckily I spotted this and the issue went away.
