Hey ppl, ok so i have a w202 c240 1999. And yesterday it was driving fine but went to start it today and it doesnt engage drive and reverse, its stuck in park. Now on the dash there are warning lights that have appeared. They are esp/bas, abs, and the brake disc lights, i will attach a pic.

So the esp/ bas, abs and the brake sensor lights are on gear selection is shown on the dash.

Thank u, i had a look at the brake light switch yesterday, that seems fine. Im thinking it might be tcm. Its crazy ive had w202's my whole life and this is the first time ive had this problem.

 

So i replace the brake light switch and nothing has changed. So next step is to either buy a diagnostic tool or take it to the mechanic. Which diagnostic tool is best for the w202?
