I finally packaged the air-intake design and it's off to the manufacturer!
W202 air-intake and it's off to the manufacturer in CA. If the prototype works
out, I'll post some pics when it comes back and is installed. It took me longer than I anticpated. Some of you may have read my earlier post of how I have the K&N sitting outside the engine bay, behind the bumper. I'll have an AEM bypass sitting right before the MAS. I was tired of hoping I could find an AEM or like intake but after months of searching, I decided to do it myself.

to prevent water from being sucked in (only really needed if the filter is submerged in water - not really likely but $43 protects the engine in that event). I have this same setup on my turbo GTI less the AEM bypass valve
and it works very well. I hope to have it posted in a week or two.
