1999 Stock Radio Wattage Rating
How many total watts does the factory fiber optic non-bose stereo in a 1999 c230k have (and how many watts per channel)?
I would hope at least 300 watts total, but who knows.

I have 1997 with stock radio. Not sure if it is the same as yours, but I got the specs from the dealer when I bought the car.
Radio A2, output 4x25w, max freq amplifier 20-20k Hz, freq radio mode 20-12k Hz, freq cassette mode 20-18k Hz, freq CD mode 20-20k Hz, Resistance 4 ohm
Speakers:
Left/right front: 25w, 5k-20k Hz, 8 ohm
Left/right front door speaker group: 25w, 60-10k Hz, 4 ohm
Left/right rear door speaker group: 25w, 120-15k Hz, 4 ohm
Left/right read speaker grooup: 25w, 40-150 Hz, 4 ohm
