My car needs the dreaded head gasket job, and the stealership wanted $1.800 for it, plus $800 for an oil pan gasket job. Tough luck... NO way I'm paying that though. Hopefully I get a better quote from the local Mercedes Independent Mechanic.

Hey! long time no speak... sorry to hear that about the mb. 2600, for gaskets... too damn high. shop around man... you can do alot better. keep me updated.
