'99 C280 30K Mile Service?

What recommended service should I look at 30,000 miles?

I was thinking of replacing the fuel filter and the transmission fluid.

Please let me know that you think.

normal oil and oil filter change. Check out hoses, fluids, etc. If brake flush hasn't been done (recommend do every 2 years) do the brake flush. Tranny fluid is usually good for 50-70k miles, depending on how hard you are on the tranny. If fairly aggressive driver, probably closer to 50k miles, average driver with some aggressiveness, probably closer to 70k is ok.

check out the tires...6 years and only 30k miles? light driving, eh? tires should be ok if you aren't aggressive, such as flooring it off the line or hard cornering.

other than that, should be ok.

With 30 k miles, I would consider a coolant change ( if it has never been done ), more important than the transmission.
If you do decide to change the trans. fluid, be VERY careful to do it properly, i.e. special equipment required.

definitely careful on the tranny fluid change if you DIY...as it needs to be set in at a specific temp I believe.

I just posted a DIY on coolant flush a few days ago on here (w202 side)...check it out if you want to do it yourself.
