I've never personally utilized this outfit, but I've seen their advertisements. Caveat Emptor.

I got out of two leases in the past. On one, I simply paid a fee since I was way over mileage, and it was less expensive to simply pay the early termination fee. For the second one, I found someone to take over the lease. The first car (truck) was a Jeep and the second one was a Nissan. Depending on the leasing company, different rules may apply.

Call your financing company for the lease and determine what your payoff is. All leases will have a payoff, and of course this amount changes each month when a payment is made or interest accrues. Hopefully with one year left on the lease, you will have equity in the car. Sell the car, or trade it in, and make the payoff amount to the financing company. Determine how long the payoff amount is good for, as interest always accrues. If you are upside down, and it it worth it to you, put in the extra cash to get out. I would rather sell or trade the vehicle than have someone assume the lease. Please check your contract, but if someone assumes the lease, you are still held responsible if they default on the payment.

Now if the reason you want out of the lease is to buy/lease a new car, and if the car you wish to buy/lease is another Benz, do talk to your dealership. They will most likely be willing to help you out if they see profit in it.
