Hi All,
Someone please help me out. It is about the climate control system in my 1994 c220. The story is that my A/C works just fine for a short period of time after I start the engine. Once, it (may or may not) reaches the desired temperature. The compressor stops working and never runs again. I tried pressing the "EC" button ON and OFF. Nothing happens. The compressor still sleeps. But if I shut down the ignition and restart the engine, the same cycle starts:
AC works OK (compressor runs) -> compressor stops and will not be on again-> turn off engine -> turn on engine -> AC works OK ->....
I have replaced many parts already including the climate control unit (that box inside the dash-board) but the problem still persists. Any bad experience to share? and how to deal with it? At the moment, I set the temperature to be the lowest so that the compressor keeps running.
Thank you for any hints at all.
