Installing COMAND
I am installing COMAND in the summer, and was wondering if there is any specific one I need to get. I know it never came stock, but I have heard that the ML is the best one to put in. I have a 2000 C230 Kompressor.

Take a comand from a W163 or W/S210 they will work. We did a C230K station with a W163 comand and next month I will install one from a W/S210 into my car!

I used a Euro W163 comand.. basically the eqivelant of the North American W208/W210 Comand.
but the Euro W163 comands voice is a British accent! plus my comand has an aux input for a mp3 player, say.. I-pod! and it also has the tv tuner button.. in case you want to add a tv tuner.
I installed the Comand myself.. took about 3 days of installing.. mostly waiting for epoxy to cure while modify parts to fit the 2 din comand in the opening for a 1 din radio.
was pretty easy to do though.
