-- Recently installed this set on my 1998.C230. After I put the set on the car I noticed the front tire clearance to the shocks are about 1/4 inch to the sidewall and top. So i decided to take it off. Help on this case. Is it the TIRE or RIM. Please help.

It looks like you bought 16" S class rims. Those wont work on your car, the offsets are too agressive. Those will work on S, CL, SL, E class, etc. If you want a more aftermarket look, I have some Brabus rims forsale if you interested.
