Help with process to remove ashtray assy
What is the correct proceedure for removing ashtray assy. Below there is the eyeglass tray just in front of the shifter panel and above is a open tray below the radio. Understood that there are two screws to take out the upper open tray and I think it comes out first.
The question is what comes next? Cracked the bottom clips on the ashtray assy and before I order a new one (lord help me on what it will cost) want to know how to reinstall correctly. Darn thing rattles so have to take care of it.

First take out the two screws and take off the panel. Next take out the cassette holder or coin tray. You'll have to yank on it pretty good for it to come out. The ashtray should be easily accessible now and you can just simply take it out. Hope this helps.
