Panorama Room - One Touch Operation

Hello,
Does anyone know any tricks to enhance the one touch operation of the panorama roof? I really hate holding that button down to close it every time and I was wondering if maybe the one touch operation was just dissabled for the US market for safety reasons. It's also annoying that the "tunnel mode" trick doesn't work with the roof.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

The tunnel mode will not close the sunroof on the coupes because, as "shooks" has noted, it does not have one-touch close. The sedans on the other hand, have one-touch close and so tunnel mode will close the roof in addition to the windows. TimmyC230boy, are you sure your roof closes via tunnel mode?

Fuzzo, it's the recirc buton on your climate control. Hold it down for 2-3 seconds. In addition to recirculation mode starting up, all windows/sunroof close, too (sedans). It's called "tunnel mode" to seal the car when you go through long tunnels where stale air & car exhaust is present.

Me too. Guess I should have read the manual more closely.

Also, the full use of the feature is made for going through a tunnel where you want to close up everything and then re-open. If you re-press the recirc button for 2 seconds after the close (before shutting off ignition), the windows and roof will re-open to their previous positions, unless they have been manually adjusted since the close.

You're right MarkL, I forgot the re-open part... just as much fun as the auto-close part...

Indeed, it's the little things that excite. Almost makes you want to read that manual to discover others, right?

Well, last week, when I wanted to sleep

I went to the exciting chapter on sunroofs - for the Coupe -- I did not find any information on 1 touch closing or tunnel operation with the Recirc button.

They only discussed 1 touch opening.

Will check the suggestions out for the Coupe

That's right, we said the coupe doesn't have one-touch close.
