W203/CL203 Suspension (Shocks/Springs/Sway Bars) Discussion/Upgrade Thread
I have 19's opn with stock suspension but want to throw on h&r springs. Do you guys think itll look good or should i justs tick to the stock springs??
h&r springs with #2 pads and spacers or stay stock??
i saw some coupes on here with teh set up im looking at but no sedans. should i look harder? or do any of u have pics??
If you wan't at least an inch drop in front and over an inch in the rear, go with TEIN S-tech's or something newer that was developed off the 2004.5+ 230 springs.
OR
Just save up for coilovers
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
KW variants range up in the 1200+
those are the two most common, tein basics are the most common, KW is preferred if you got the cheddar to fork out for them.

no wait...scratch that...I think Bilstein does make the PSS9 for 4matic. I saw it on tirerack, but you might want to confirm that.

Bilstein PSS9 for C240 4-matic. new part# F4-GM5-8860-H0
http://www.performancecenter.com/pro...andname=EIBACH
it says "sedan only"... but i know that many places say that for other springs and its usually not the case.
i am searching for good springs that will lower my car at least an inch or more that will maintain that comfortable ride and this is what i think i'm going with. any other suggestions?
(i just put on new rims and my car is jacked up an inch from its stock height... it looks so funky like a mini-suv/conversion car. i dont like it one bit)

what new rims did you get?

1. durability (i dont want other parts to wear out quickly b/c of a unbalanced setup)
2. comfort (i want the ride to be comfortable like stock)
3. performance (duh....)
my budget range is 600-1300 and i am deciding to do suspension instead of bixenons because that can wait. (of course i dont want to spend my max amount if i dont have to!)
a few ideas from reading around:
1. eibach lowering kit
2. H&R cup kit
3. Bilstein Sport Shock/H&R Sport Spring combo
4. KW V2 coilovers
5. H&R coilovers
some maybe out of my range... but if i go for something more expensive, i will probably plan to install myself to save money.
any suggestions for the best value for the price if my goals are comfort, looks, and peformance? (i doubt i will adjust after they're on)
**i also noticed that some people change their pads i guess for ride height?... but anyways, i dont want to do more than i have to

YOUR THE MAN FRANK!!! Thanks a lot. Now to check how much. Thanks again!!!
