MB-BOB, this is a mystery. xc240x says he has the cloth seals and he has a 2001. I have a 2002 (took delivery in Dec 2001) and I have rubber. Hmmm....

Doh! My bad. I thought he said he had cloth seats, but I see now he meant cloth seals. That would predate even my car! Yea, I think my head hurts now, too.

2002 C240 6 spd manual
My 2002 C240 has the cloth covered seals. I purchased it in May 2002.
