Tire chains on W203?
Hi, I am seriously considering driving up to Tahoe tonight, given the dumping of snow they've had up there. Gonna need chains!
My car has the regular all-season tires - I seem to remember the manual stating that snow chains are "not allowed" on my car.
Has anyone driven with chains on their W203? Did it work out ok?

Search under Blizzaks in this forum and Tireracks...quite a few people swear by them for use on their coupe/sedans in heavy snow...

I think what he is saying is he wants chains because he doesnt want to spend the money to get winter tires/rims to use for a weekend... It says he lives in SF... Or at least thats the impression I'm getting
