Great Dealer Experience
This dealship is first class in every respect but yet is laid back and not stuffy but making one comfortable in doing business with them. I felt they were honest, straightforward and efficient in their sales process. This is my 6th Benz and by far the best service I have encountered at any dealership to date.
Needless to say when I buy my next one I will again take the drive to Temple. If you should stop in, tell Ken that Ted said hello and you read my comments on this board.

But to answer your question... the specs were - black, auto trans., C5 (which includes leather, bose audio, sunroof, auto wipers) and the CD changer. The price before TT&L was $29,765.31 and drive out was $31,625.31. No dealer in Southeast Texas would come close to matching their price. I think part of the reason is that they also sell the full GM line, BMW, Volvo, and a couple other lines that aid in the overall support of the dealership. Most MB Dealerships are stictly MB and can't afford to offer any discount due to their vast overhead cost.
I e-mailed every MB dealership in a 300 mi radius and this was the by far the best price that I was quoted. I made the drive put down my deposit and the rest is history. Again, they are great folks to deal with and I would suggest that anyone in Texas planning to purchase a MB let them give you a quote before you plunk down your $$$ !

I ordered a new VW Passat from Garyln Shelton in Bryan, TX only because I could not live with the fact of paying MSRP for any car. The MB in Temple finally offered $800 under MSRP and I called up VW and canceled my order. (They already had someone going to the the port near Houston to pick up my new VW
)Temple MB was the only one who would give me any price below MSRP. (-$800) The only problem was that didn't have any in stock with the options I wanted. The sales person was wonderful to work with (like all MB sales reps should be)
I then spoke with my previous sales person from MB Houston North. He agreed to the same MSRP-$800. After a crazy paper chase, accusations of my bad credit (not true) and worries of a nice 15% APR I went to MB Houston Greenway and spoke with Mendel Cheng. He was a perfect sales person within three hours I was driving away in my new car without a worry in the world. No 15% APR or anything.
May God Bless MB of Temple and MB of Houston Greenway for I will go back to them to get my next MBs
Eric
