Thanks guys. I've got another question. How come many people don't have license plates on the front of their benzes? I live in Illinois, and I want to take off the one on the front but don't know if it's legal.

Cuz it looks a hell of a lot better without a front plate on, but here in Cali you will get a fix it ticket if you dont have one. It sucks since it can take away from the looks of the car at times

Yeah, I think so too. Looks a lot better without the front plate, though i don't mind as much about the rear. Anyone have a link to state-by-state info on whether or not you can remove the front plate legally?

i would guess if you where issued two you must have to use both.

Yup...or what you can do is take ur required front plate and *securely* fasten it to your sun visor on the passenger side and when ur driving, pull dont the visor and your ok. An ex cop told me that- but the catch is that it must be securely fastened to the visor incase of an accident and so it wont fly off possibly harming you or others.

19 inch type iii are for the CL and S-class. You'll need spacers for them to work on other class.
