at the top of the rear window, dead center. It sticks up like a little puppy tail. Dealer told me that was for satellite radio but it could be TelAid and/or GPS - he was mistaken about the automatic daylight savings time adjustment, too. I'm sure someone here on this forum knows exactly what that antenna does. A lot of things are prewired on this car I'm sure.

Dang, I went into a best buy at 6:15...I swore I only spent no longer than 15 minutes in there. I jumped into my car and drove off and when I was block away from where I was, I noticed the time was at around 7:35. I thought I wasted my life away in the store until I looked at my wrist watch and it was an hour back. haha....but that was definitely one of the weirdest things

Your dealer is wrong. There have been lots of threads on satellite radio antennas which are separate to the one you describe. The cars do not come with satellite radio antennas unless you order satellite radio as an option and then they are installed at the point of entry on the top of the trunk.

Tell me something I _don't_ know. So what is the stubby little antenna for then? I don't have TelAid, COMAND, _or_ satellite radio but it must be for _one_ of those things, right?

The antenna for SAT radio looks like a streamlined hockey puck. It mounts on the trunk lid of sedans and the roof of wagons.

The little whip antenna at the top of the rear window is for the integrated phone, and shares duty with TeleAid, if installed.

I will be getting my car back from Service today and will let you know what, if anything the dealer was able to do.

When I informed them about the clock moving forward due to German daylight savings times they were clueless (big suprise).

Will keep you updated.

Glad it wasn't me

Here I am thinking I was all ready to be at church on time (for once) on Easter Sunday...hop in the ride, and like "WTF!?!?!?, how I can be 30 mins late already" Check the cell, it was an hour back, and then went back in the house to to see it was an hour back. Change the time myself thought nothing else of it till I saw these post. LMAO

Trouble in the land downunder

Mine moved forward 1 hour on the last Sunday of March. Trouble is, I'm in Australia. Here, we revert to standard time on that day. ie. Clocks move back 1 hour. Therefore, my clock was 2 hours ahead on Sunday morning. I'll be checking with my dealer, whether there is a software fix for this.
