c230 chip tuning
Hi! im interested in buying the upsolute chip for the c230. Where can i order it online? if there any other affordable option? ill appreciatte any advice! Thanks!

GIAC is in the process of making a chip for the coupe. Its in its final testing stage now. If you can hold off a couple weeks you might be suprised at what they come out with.

Maybe you should do a little research on what exactly happens with a chip upgrade before buying one.
For the ccoupe, what Upsolute does is removes your ecu from the engine bay, and reprograms it, then puts it back. They don't give you a new physical chip or anything.
Check out their website; if they don't have a PR rep, then the term for you would be screwed.
Unless you could mail them your chip, but I don't think that would be a good thing, with possible damage in transit, and the lack of troubleshooting after the install.

The "pulley" they refer to is for the C230 and C200 coupes and the SLK230. It replaces the factory crankshaft pulley with one that spins the supercharger at higher speeds to create more boost. Typically the vendors claim between 20 and 40HP increases. I believe the large discrency is the diameters of the pulleys. This is the best bang for the buck for our cars and can be a do it yourself job (the ECU mods are not do it yourself).
Pullies range in price from $350 to $3,000. Price is not an indicator of performance or quality. Brabus and Renntech command a higher price because of brand image. The lowest price is for an alloy pulley group buy that Timmy and I are working on and should be available soon. It's anticipated performance should be on the high end of the spectrum.
After the pulley, the chip and intercooler are the next bang for the buck performance increaser. We are working on that too and so is Evosport from what I hear. The chip should get 15-20hp above the pulley and the intercooler the same.
