Faded Orange Message Lights

I have a 02' coupe and I've noticed lately that when its even moderately warm outside that the lights on the message center screen fade out. It's really noticable at the top with the words having dark faded streaks through them. Has anyone else noticed this?

flicker?

The top line of the display whereit reads "since reset" has started to flicker.

I'm taking it in next week to have it checked out while still covered.

Yes, happens to mine too, a couple of miles with the AC on and it returns to normal.
I am handing my car back soon (end of lease) so I will live with it till then.

when it's colder than -25 celcius here the display will take a few seconds before changing from menu to menu... but no damage.. you should have yours checked at the dealer... they've seen their share of defective clusters

i've noticed the same thing with cold weather, it seems the materials need to warm up first before reacting the way they're suppose to.
