i know what you mean.. but i think the original poster maybe interested in the new c-class with the v6 and no I4k

Yeah, well, no question in this forum seems to go without at least one answer that reveals...um...nothing.
The complete new engine lineup has only just been released in the EU. My source at a dealership in CA seems to believe we won't see them before the usual model-year changeover, i.e. September or so.
Apparently, the badging will again reveal very little - the C230 will actually have the 2.5 [a bit over 200 hp with the new heads], the C280 will have the 3.0, and of course, the C350 will have the 3.5.
