Suspension: Eibach Pro System V.S Bilstein B12
Hi All,
Try to find out the ride quality and handling character between the TWO suspension kits from Eibach Pro System and Bilstein B12. Which one handle better or ride better ?
My local shop recommend the Bilstein B6 with Eibach pro-kit sprng, not sure if this is a good setup.
Any input would be much appreciated.

I'm using the exact setup you mentioned - Eibach Pro springs with Bilstein shocks. Since my C230K comes standard with sports suspension, the change isn't as dramatic - both height and comfort - as you'd expect from pre-face lifted models with stock suspension. It's definitely stiffer, but by a margin I deemed acceptable.
I've heard that H&R springs would lower the car more. Which also means that it's stiffer than the Eibach, so the choice is yours.

correction for my original post.
My local shop recommend Bilstein B8 not B6. I guess Eibach Pro springs with Bilstein shocks would have similar ride quality compare to Eibach Pro system(both 30mm drops; diff shocks, Eibach made by Sache) ?
BTW, is the spring from Pro system is the same as the spring in Pro-kits ? In other words, Pro-system = pro kit + pro-damper ?
Just wondering if anyone actually try the complete kits from Eibach Pro System or Bilstein B12 ? Any comments ?

I've heard good things about Koni adjustable shocks matched with H&R sport springs. This way you can dial in the stiffness and get the ride just how you want it. H&R sits a bit lower than Eibach, but not slammed. I do not recommend Eibach with stock shocks, which is what I ran for a few thousand miles then swapped out for H&R cup kit, which was significantly smoother and better looking (lower drop). Sorry I can't specifically comment on your question, but this is all I have experience with.
