I guess it depends on how long between production date and when you remove. I debadged 2 years after I bought it, and had no issues.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to have to buff it out with some polish as per the body shop. No big deal, just hope it brings the shine back.

Not to get your hopes down, but polishing/waxing mine did not help after debadging.

I eventually painted the bumper because I refused to re-badge. There's a lot more to that story as well, but I'll save that for another day...haha!

I am not sure if you guys have ever tried to use Dental floss to de-badge your car. Works really good and I must say that it is better than using a credit card which could scratch the paint. It is a good opportunity to do some maintenance of your own and make sure you don’t have a piece of chicken stuck between your teeth.

The buffing with polish trick actually did the job for me, glad to say, looks fresh as ever, I'll take some pics later
