I think that they have delayed the intoduction of the B-Class to the US due to the weak dollar. No C230 Sedan with the new V6?

That is what I was told by my friend at MBUSA... The C230 is being replaced by the C280, but I was also told the C240 was going to get the 2.5 v6.

2006 c230
Why don't you guys wait till the official listing is posted on the MBUSA website, we've heard just about every variant of C-class models coming, all we can be sure about is the C350. Plus, if you notice the mbusa does have a 2006 C230K listing with 2006 specs up. Just wait until things are made official rather than speculate.

Because sometimes it's just more fun to speculate, it's human nature.

3.0L V6 (aka C280/CLK280/SLK280...not sure about the E-Class)
228HP & 221TQ

3.5L V6 (aka C350/E350/SLK350/ML350)
268HP & 258TQ

2.6L V6 remains unchanged and the 1.8L SC I4 remains unchanged.

None. Nothing nearly as wimpy out there.

It just kills me with the idiocy of calling the 3.0L cars "280". Why even bother with the numbers then? Idiots. No wonder MB lost 1.2Billion last quarter.

I'm sure their model numbering system had everything to do with that

Yup.

They also tend to round certain figures. S600 = 5.5L
C230 = 2.5
