it looks similar to the C-Coupe except its sliding below the roof instead of above the roof and of course it cant touch one for $80K

I read somewhere (I've lost the link) that the C-Coupe and Porsche Targa glass roof were developed at the same time in a joint MB/Porsche contract with the company that does all the sunroofs for both companies.
This company is also the company that developed the retractable hardtop for the SLK and more recently has been showing off technology for a four seat retractable hardtop (front half of roof slides over second half of roof, rest folds like SLK hardtop).
