I can't speak to BMW's accuraccy, but I believe there was a thread a couple of years back about the MB speedo accuracy. IIRC, the digital one is quite accurate. The needle position on the analog one is apparently open to debate.

If you want performance, at warm places not in cold region, the bridgestone are the best, I had all pilot sport and continental and the bridgestone s03 after getting warm are the best, they grip grip grip grip and grip, and in wet they are spectacular, much grip too, not like continental sport contact 2 no grip at all

The bridgestone are a bit hard when driving road holes, but no roll when driving like nuts
The michelin pilot sport 2 its a bit soft like the 1...

Its all a mater of tastes

C 230K Coupé
Haha ct230k every post you start always ends up being swamped with a whole load of pics . That's good thing though. Fastest i've gone in my car was 120, and yes i do agree it feels really stable, not too diff from going 80 in my opinion. I have the 2002 which didn't come with the sport package standard back then. So i have the 16in rims with the crappy Michelin Energy. They're pretty grippy though but i haven't had much experience with other tires. But one of my tires got worn out pretty badly but i think that's cuz of bad alignment. The only thing that i can complain about em though is that they're only rated H. Which is good to 130mph... I'd love to get some Potenzas but i'm pretty sure the lease will be over by then. My friend has a RX8 with potenzas and i must admit it grips insanely well...
