I don't mean to pull it off topic, but can some one please explain to me how 19 inch wheels can get on the coupe and I can't use chains on c7 wheels without damaging the fenders.

Here's a little lesson for ya:
when you go up a size in rims, you go down to lower profile tires, to keep the overall rim/tire diameter constant. It's called plus sizing - tirerack has a very good writeup on it.
Now, when you put on chains, you increase the diameter, which leads to the possibility of the chains hitting the fenders. That's the Cliff's Notes version. HTH!
