1) how much power do you need? If it is 40 amps or less, why not a fusebox?

2) if it is more than 40 amps, why not from the rear SAM, or multiple 40 amp fuses in a fusebox?

if you MUST MUST run one from the battery ( ), try behind the air filter going through the firewall coming out just under / bottom of your glove box. I ran my SIRIUS antenna wire through there. It's not easy, and you need the help of a fish to slip through there. Sorry, no pics. Even if I tried, you wouldn't see anything. It's that hidden.

When I had my sub and amp installed in my car, the installer guy ran a power wire from the battery, it goes from the engine compartment to the cabin from somewhere infront of the drivers side (i'm in the UK, right hand drive), which to me is the opposite side of the car which the battery is on, near where the fusebox is.

If you need any more help or want me to look in more detail for you, let me know.
