DO ALL C230 KOMPRESORS HAVE SPORT PACKAGE ? I wondered this. I have a C230 an 02-04 Model, and I wanted to know if all coupes have sport package. Say if you dont have painted door handles, and 7 spoke tires, do you still have the sport package ? I thought the sports package includes, lower sport suspensions, sports seats, and a body kit.

the color keyed door handles, 17" 7 spoke evolution wheels, aluminum pedals, door sills were part of the C7 Wheel Package for US Coupes.

On a related note, are the wheels of either the coupe or the sport sedan of the 2004 model supposed to be staggered? I recall hearing that the wheels are supposed to be staggered, but I don't believe they are on my coupe, so I'm assuming that was for the sport sedan. Anyone know something about this?

2004.5 and up WZ's have staggard wheels. 2005 coupes w/ 17" have staggard wheels.

all the W203 C230 sedans are with some sort of sport package, therefore making then sport sedans. atleast the US spec.

let's clarify
The 2002 - 2004.5 coupes did not have a "sport package" per se; the C7 Wheel Package includes what Citron listed above plus a different rear axle ratio (suspension is the same) and short throw shifter(manual trans. only). The 2004.5 - 2005 (and 06) SportSedan have what is now termed a sport package includes staggered wheels, AMG styled front and rear aprons, stiffer sway bars and lower suspension, interior dress and exterior cues like color coded door handles. This "sport package" was not (to the best of my search abilities) available on a US bound C230 coupe prior to the 2004.5 model update. AMG Coupes were produced for Euro and Asian markets with the AMG 3.2 liter V6 or the 3.0 Diesel, but only by special order.
Can anyone add to this?

oh yeah and the C7 included a larger exhaust tip on the C230's. i think the C320 coupes came standard with the larger tip.

ALL COUPES have allways had the "sport suspension"- essentially the same as the pre 2004.5 C CLass Sedan Sport 'package'

2002 Coupes have taller differential gearing, thanks to the torquey M111. Subsequent years pf the C230 Coupe(but not C320 Coupe) use the lower geared differential from the C240, because the M271 makes less torque. THIS IS NOT PART OF THE C7 PACKAGE.

The C7 package added the color coded door handles, in addition to the afformentioned goodies in 2002 and 2003. ALL 2004 and 2005 Coupe came standard with the C7 package. There's no need for the sport 'package' on the Coupe, because it allready has those goodies, save the AMG nose and staggered wheels.

You can still get the C30 AMG Coupe. The C32 Coupe went out with the C32 Sedan. That makes the 272HP C350 Coupe the current top dog in Coupes.

I don't want to argue this point, but I've driven '05 C230k SportSedan loaners and they have larger 'AMG' sway bars, stiffer springs and much tighter steering than my 2002 C230k coupe. These are observations <shrug>...
I'm no expert, and I don't have access to all the part numbers, but if someone wants to do a comparison....(hint), I'd bet a beer that there's a difference.

Yes. The 05 cars have more than just stiffer sway bars. The cars have a wider track, faster steering, different bushings etc... MB calls the changes "direct control". Whateever. The results though, speak loudly. The 05 cars are great handlers.

Can someone please answer the question. DOES ALL 02-04 C230's Coupes have a sports package. The stering wheel is different vs the lux c240's. Does the general sports package includes suspensions,seats, and steering wheel ? Just answer the ? Thanks

If you're going to ask the question again, better make sure that it hasn't been answered already.

Now, as far as the bits you're talking about that are not part of the suspension, the seats and steering wheel were different on the coupe from the sedan ALWAYS, and the C7 package had a different steering wheel with thumbgrips. When the C7 package was made standard on all ccoupes, the better steering wheel was standard.
