Finally saw your video with Window's browser, Mac's browsers didn't work.
So you had that noise too!
Will you bring this up to your dealer?

I will mention at the dealer next time, but since we both have it, I don't think it's a problem.. because I had to stand outside to hear that sound, and only in garage, I think it's because of the ehco from the garage makes you think it's very loud, once you pull out to a parking lot, you can notice it is really not that loud... but I think my dealer will have problem to find another bixenon car to check, I havn't seem any other C-class with bixenon since I got my car.. I guess most of people don't like it... even the C55 at the dealers has no bixenon also

The problem is I don't have a parking garage. I can hear the noise rather loud when I am inside the car with the windows up.
But there are only 2 of us having this noise. Others has replied and said no noise.
I am feeling it will not be easy to convince the dealer to replace them.
For now, at least I am not alone.....

C55 no bixenons? Thats crazy.

That brand new C230K at the dealer's place has this sound. But it is very soft.
I won't mind the noise if it is soft. But it is rather loud when I turn the key. Rather annoying. Makes me feel the car has got some cheap lights. Can be rather embarrassing if I show it to my friends or when people walk by and hear this noise.

Just got back from the dealer and they told me it's normal... so I guess it's normal, heh

After 6 months of repeated complains, the service centre finally replaced the bix.
Finally....NO RATTLING NOISE from the new bix.

Unfortunately, they only replaced the driver's side headlamps. I can still hear a bit of rattling from the passenger side. Sigh....later.

You should just ask your S.A. to compare it to another car/loaner on the lot with Bi-X. You should be present at the time of comparison. That should help you out.

Thank you for the advice, but it is hard to find a C with Bi-X in Montreal even most of the C55 here has no Bi-X. Thats why i was asking for the video...

I can even hear the noise when I am inside the car. Only the driver's side is louder, passenger side very soft.

I went to the dealer and they tested another C230K SS. The bi-xenons also give a very soft rattling noise. I have to stand very close to them to actually hear this noise. But mine are rather loud.

Has anyone notice this rattling sound?
yes thats normal the headlights level everytime you turn on teh car.. the thing im not sure of is if they level even in the daytime. i can see the reflection against a wall of the projector from the city light at night before the the headlights turn on. ive always wondered if they are constantly leveling during the day.

What is your email, i can send you my video.

EKY is right, you should let the dealer compare your car with another one. During the first 3 months of complain, they said they are not sure if that is a problem. Finally the service centre agreed its a problem after seeing there isn't any noise from my friend's bix.

I am disappointed with my new Bix.
It was quiet the first 2 weeks. Now it gives a loud rattling noise again.
If only I can get those auto-levelling function shut off.

Nope, but i intend to inform this same problem the next time i go there. I am thinking to tell them that I a few months down the road I will ask for a replacement.
I notice the new bix sometimes gives a softer rattling noise. But most of the time it is loud.
