on the light,,,the lower right hand side. there is a bulb that goes into the tail. but on my tail there is not a hole for it to go into! does anyone know what this light is?? the LOWER bottom right of the rear tail light (passenger side).

i got the tail for 100 bux...OEM look alike.

Important question before anybody can really answer:

1) Do you have a sedan or coupe?

I've never taken out my taillights from my sedan, so I couldn't tell you. I've replaced the bulbs before and I know that the sockets are all on one panel, but couldn't tell you why the taillight is missing a hole for any of the bulbs (unless the holes for the coupe are different than the sedan)?

It is probably for the rear fog light, which is only on the left side of the car. However, the bulb holder would be the same for either side of the car, which explains why you have a bulb but nowhere to put it.

I don't get it. Why would the bulb panel (holder) have a socket for a rear fog light for both sides? Is there a rear right foglight in some countries?

Could it possibly be for RHD countries?

Actually what I think he got is a EURO replica based on his statement of OEM look-a-like. And as we all know, :cough::cough: US vehicles have those funny sidemarker lights; front and rear.

Now where was this mentioned before? Let me think............!
