what are"conveyance fee" and "advertising fee" in other areas?
I've been shopping and just ordered a c230 coupe. Here in CT dealers add on a "conveyance fee" (their charge for processing paperwork) of $200-300 and an "advertising co-op" fee of $200-500 (depending on part of state). Are similar fees common in other areas, or is this just some added little routine from the NY metro folks? BTW-rather than arguing about those specific fees, I figured them into what markup I was willing to pay. Also, the dealer I bought from didn't include the advertising fee.

the price range for the coupe that most people purchased at was MSRP + destination (the high end) all the way down to 3% over invoice (low end)
advertising fees, dealer fees, co-op fees.... might as well be called "rip off the customer fee" and "sucker should pay fee," "you just got taken fee"
do not pay them. even in so cal, where coupes are harder to find then a virgin, people arent paying these EXTRA dealer charges to pad msrp.
