I believe Demon is saying that he will install the H&R springs, not that he's done it yet. Just looking for input on what it will turn out looking like.

Demon - I'm sure it'll look great! I could look at black cars until my eyes pop. I'm looking into getting a new set of springs as well. Where are you getting yours?

Nice, H&R would be my choice too. Your car could definatly use a drop.

Demon,
with H&R springs, your Coupé is going to look awesome.
If you get a chance, try getting more light in your "before" pic to show the difference with your "after" picture. Because you have a beautiful black car, it's hard to see the drop with black wheel wells & tires.

Also, noticed you took pics on the opposite side of SD Bay ! Cool !
Here's me... across the water:
I used Carlsson-Bilstein RS adjustable sport suspension. H&R was definitely one of my early options along with AMG, TEIN, and EIBACH.

ordered it at a local shop.

i agree with the black car and tires and gap thing. many times i'v told myself
i didnt need a drop. but it annoys me when i see the gap sometimes.
the things is dat the back is perfect, just the front is too high. so i didnt know
wut to do.

i love SD, but i live in LA, went hang out for a while. my next goal is to get a
house in SD.... hahaha.... maybe get an F430 first...

AMG bumper (front & rear) go for about $600-$800 each depending on vendor.

I would make sure that they are genuine AMG parts from a trusted source.
Some of those eBay ones and non-German don't look too hot ! That price included the black grills as well, but not the Euro bumper strips. The strips w/ Parktronic holes or not (your choice), I got from Steve (MBenzNL) at ~ $165-$200, somewhere around there.

Let us know next time you're in San Diego.
Would love to do a photoshoot of just C-Coupes.

It will look nice when you lower a bit. I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but unfortunetely (learn this by experience), after that you'll notice that the front will have more gap than the rear....but may be no. Anyway, I agree with you to lower it, it will handle better. Good luck

Hey Saprissa, on the list of your mods it says you have a c32 amg, i'm just wondering why you chose that. Is it the same as the AMG exhaust they offer for the Coupe?

it's a very LONG LOOOOONG story. Here's the cliff notes:

- spent 1+ year looking for actual C32 AMG exhaust made for the Sport Coupe.
- 2 types were made on the 30 Sport Coupe C32 AMG's made. One with dual oval tips on one side, and another (most) with single pipes on each side.
- Found many different types of AMG ehxuast for Coupe but none for V6 3.2L.
- Bought an AMG C32 ehxaust made for sedan. Sat in my garage for months.
- Came really close through a mediator in talking with AMG to getting the true AMG C32 Sport Coupe exhaust.
- AMG completely refused, and said that part would not be sold.
- got technical drawings on C32 AMG exhaust and took it to specialty exhaust shop who could do the work using the C32 AMG sedan exhaust.
- modified my car to fit the C32 AMG exhaust, and that's what I'm using now.

they are very proprietary of their close-hold "special editions", like the C32 Coupe.
Unless I ship the car to Affalterbach, Germany, they will not add any AMG spec engine (to include exhaust) upgrades.

Much different from the AMG regular series models (C32, C55, etc....)
