2005 C230 SS
Thumbs up 2005 c230 SS - 5 1/2 month update

Car update:
Well I have had my car since Dec 21 2004 and I really love it! I have around 6,700 miles on it and I will be taking it in for service next week for these issues below:

1) car pulling to right
2) back speaker in HK system rattles big time
3) driver side seatbelt attachment has a slight but annoying rattle as mentioned on the previous posts
4) middle compartment arm rest is peeling and it looks like crap! never cleaned it with anything funky or anything, just started peeling by itself?!
5) hearing small little pops and cracks from dash and center console when going over unsteady roads / very annoying

And that is about it....sadly it is kinda of a long list...hopefully they will be able to take care of everything...I have been averaging around 24 mpg and slowly my gas mileage continues to improve

Has anybody experienced some of the same stuff I have listed above??

As a side note I will probably be getting my car tinted in the next upcoming weeks...I am looking to get 20% in the back and 25% on the 4 windows...The hot days are killing me here in south FL...I will post pics once it is done with...By the way does anybody know what the legal tint limit is in Florida??

Thanks in advance for any feedback...

Huh?! No fault codes telling you to visit workshop for things you've already had replaced 2 or 3 times?! No stalling on the interstate?! No windows that stopped working in the OPEN position? No prematurely blown light bulbs? Pray that the "problems" you are having are as bad as they get

Car is probably pulling to the right because roads are sloped to wash away rain...seems almost everyone has this "problem". As much as it sucks, minor rattles are inevitable and will always exist. The peeling armrest and rattling seatbelt/speaker should be replaced under warranty. All in all, not too bad...consider yourself lucky!

And MB is superior to other makers because.....?? Oh, that's right, because it's MB :v

Weren't people speaking of the HIGH quality of MB and MB interiors not too long ago? Sorry fellas, love the car so far, just not an MB monkeyboy quite yet. Gotta keep it real.

Thank you for all the feedback so far...I guess all in all I could be a lot worse..I just hope that no bigger problems come along. I am planning to keep this car for about 5-6 years so I hope it will last...
And yes I guess you can say I am an " ole monkeyboy" for MB's, love everything about my car.
