Vyrus: This is going no where. Remember the lyrics "I fought the law and the law won"? These cops will play you out, waste your time, get in front of a judge say the right things and you WILL be convicted WHETHER RIGHT OR WRONG. Then your only recourse is to appeal to the trial court level in your state. You will burn through your life savings of $40 in no time. I wouldn't take you as a client with your agenda for less than a $5000 retainer up front in cash!
Didn't you start to catch on when the Danville police came to your mother's house to arrest you????? They were just starting to **** with you.

If I were you, I would call a few lawyers, explain it and ask if they would take it on contingency. If they will then you probably have a case, if not then drop it.

isnt it illegal to say i was in an accident, when it was jsut a ****ing speeding ticket?

and not to mention that my mom is ****ing stresssing out, god forbid anything happens to her, she has a week heart to begin with

best thing to do i guess is go to a lawyer, but i just dont want a headache, i want to see if i could just go to court, tell the judge, hey, my mom wanted to sue the police dept. but i told her to relax and take it easy... cause its all a misunderstanding... just like how this speeding and exhusasdt tick is... all a misunderstanding... i wasnt speeding, and my ticket is legal...

do u think the judge will drop it?

Without knowing the whole story, no one here can give you good advice.
Could it be possible that the Danville police did get some messed up information over the wire?

"Cyrus with lic#**** driving a black mercedes was involved in an accident yesterday. Please go to his house and investigate"

probably looks like:

Cyrus, 123 main st. - violation 405 6/1/05 - merc bk lic#**** - needs further investigation

on their system.

It might just be miscommunication. I would feel lucky that he offered to throw out your ticket. Even when they're wrong, that's hard to get them to do.

i don't care what people think of you either, or whether you post on a public site. I know you didn't do anything wrong.

So what do we gain: 1 extra thread on the same identical subject.

Stand by for thread merge.....

Make a recording after the fact? WTF. Written records here by him will not have a bearing. Plus as in most cases, family as a witness will be discounted. Ask EDJ.

the danville police dept, told me that he should have put it was regarding a TICKET RATHER THAN AN ACCIDENT, and in that case they would have called me..

i really think the cop is trying to **** with me, or he has no clue what the **** you doing

Actually, being a street pimp wouldn't be a bad second career.

ok, i didntr know.... but money isnt the issue here.... the issue is do i have any rights? and secondly, can the cop put a misleading report to another PD saying i was in an accident when i really wasnt. IF i can do something about, ****, ill give you ****ing 10,000 dollars.... like i said, is what the cop did legal or illegal?

if i ask the cops, of coarse they are going to back each other up
