I was driving my stock 1989 Mustang GT doing a 138 on Pulaski bridge in New Jersey at 3am in the morning back in the day. I was trying reach top end, but ran out of room and thats when I first experience brake fade which scared me half to death. Thankfully there wasn't anybody on that bridge around that time or I've been one dead ****.

My 1965 Jaguar XKE. 4.2 liter straight six engine.
The fastest I ever got it was also the last time I ever drove it. I snapped a connecting rod on I-5 and flames were coming out of the hood louvers and on to my windshield. It was a ghastly sound as the broken engine wound down.
All I kept was the oil cap.
