Hmmm... I dont know. :/

I put on the FMM C55 Lip last night taped it up and let it sit for about 15 hours. here is what it looks like.

Im torn right now. i like it but i dont. i dont know. if any one was interested to know about the FMM fitment i would give it 95% every thing fits great till the very ends. its flush all the way around but the tips have like 1/10th of an inch from touching the trunk lid. i tryed pushing it down as hard as i can and they will stick for about 30 sec then pop back up. i even placed 2 heavy boxes on the ends to hold them down for about 2 hours and they did the same thing. im going to get sone super strong adhessive i can squirt in there to hold it down and ill be golden.

Its better you get it quicker, before someone touch the lip and steel it

I think it looks good..... Try some heavy duty adhesive and see if that works better. Looks like the paint matches perfectly, was it factory paint, or after market?

i dont think any one can steal it. its on there real good. just the very ends i have a problem with. i think the only way im going to beable to get it off if i want to take it off is with adhesive remover, spray bottle, and plastic blade.

its not factory. its a replica of factory. From www.formymercedes.com its a lot cheaper then factory and it comes painted. but as with all replicas you cant guarantee 100% factory fitment as im having a small problem with. if i was not so **** about my car the fitment would not bother me to much but i like things to be perfect.

Did it come w/ installation instructions? Exactly what steps did you take to install it? Can you describe the adhesive it came with? I may be wrong, but I think you may have it about 1/4"-1/2" too high. I could have sworn that from the pics I've seen, the cut-out section for the 3rd brake light sits flush with the top edge of the 3rd brake light lens. Either way, I think you're unsure about it because it's such a rare mod and looks so different from you've been looking at on W203 sedans for so long. I'd bet that the look will grow on you I can't wait to get mine from soilerdepot.com!!!!!!!!

yes it came with install instructions but they were just the basic, test fit, peal tape, install.

i used a very light 50/50 mix of windex and water. placed it on and slid it in to place, then used blue painters tape to tape it in place and wait for the water/windex to dry a bit. then pressed in to place.

i dont know how it can be sitting to high its flush on top with the deck lid. cant go down any further. I may just take it off, remove all the tape and just use a silicone to hold it in place. that may just work better. i dont know. if i can get the sides down ill be happy.

funny thing is i was looking through the threads here about spoiler installs and the C55 spoiler and i found this:

In this thread:

im guessing its a common thing for this spoiler.. eh.. should be an easy fix though.

my c230 came with a spoiler from the dealer, but i dont know if that is the kind you guys are talking about. it looks very similar, but im not too familiar with the different styles offered for the car.

i was still iffy about it at first, but after a while i love it. it really gives the car a different look and still keeps the car classy looking.

I think it looks good in red. I think if it was black, the lip, it might offset and contrast nicely with the car, making it look a tad better.

i drive them all, fast and hard
my fitment was abit shoddy initially when i had it on with the tape but i spent 50 bucks and went to a body shop where they put it on proper with glue adhesive. id say fitment is 97% good enuf for me. i just drove 2000 miles in speeds excess of 100 and it stayed on perfectly. i could feel the extra HP that it gave me tooo
