Pics of New Wheels
Hi there,
Just wanted to post a couple pics of the new wheels. Nothing everyone here hasn't already seen already. 19" TSW Bremma's. 235/35 and 265/30 on 19x8.5 and 19x9.5.
I'm enjoying the heck out of them. And it's nice seeing that there are hardly any modded benz's around here (especially w203's). I can tell a slight loss in power, but the ride is great and honestly I think the looks/handling that I've gained outweight the power loss.
Looks like I might be getting that Renntech kit or Powerchip sooner than I expected
I'll try and post some better pics when I get a chance.

Nice dude.
One question for anyone: Would that be considered an AMG replica? The reason I ask is because those rims are made and branded by TSW. It even has a name, Bremba. We have replicas here but they aren't branded. They are called just that - AMG Style IV replicas.

Better tires usually use a softer compound that's why they wore out faster. The lower the UTQG rating the faster they wore out.
I use tires that suit my driving style...which is like a 70 yrs old lady...ha...ha..lol
Check your alignment. Toe in or out issue wore the tires out a lot faster than camber issue.

Thanks guys.
phattbam - did you get your question answered? It looks like you did.
Either way, I got them from Neal @ euroteckmotorsports. Evidently they're pretty hard to come by right now since everything's on backorder. That wheel combination in specific.
I am running on stock sport suspension, but some techs at the dealership seemed to noticed that mine was ever so slightly lower than the other C230's on the lot. We're not so sure what that's all about. It rides perfectly - but I'll eventually get some new springs/shocks down the road.
Funny thing, none of them had ever seen xenon's on a c-class outside of the C55's they sold. The lot manager never ordered that option on their inventory... odd.
As for what I consider the wheels, that's a good question. I usually just stick with what they're actually called when I buy them. They are indeed looks like replicas of the 19" AMG wheels, but probably less robust/heavier.

Oh, by the way - Neal (blackc230coupe) is great to deal with. We had a wheel mishap in the beginning, but Neal helped me sort it all out. You've gotta be extra careful about that unnecessarily big (but good looking) front caliper.
I never seem to have any luck when it comes to mail-order, haha. Too bad Knoxville, TN doesn't have any great German car outfitters.
If anyone's thinking about it... the TSW Catalunya's look really good too with the grey finish and polished lip.
