The C350 is due at the dealers late July for those of you who really want to know. You can place your order now.
I have the 350 engine and 7G in my E350. All I can say is it is one of the best engine - transmission combinations MB has ever produced.

here's a challenging response I sent to a recent e-mail from MBUSA (they were advertising the C,E,S I posted the other day)
Dear mbusa@criticalmass.com,
Let me know when you start importing the 2006 C350 COUPE. I'm not a big fan of the premium price tag MBUSA puts on the CLK line and I have no use for the two extra doors of the sedans. Canada and the rest of the world gets this gem...but MBUSA refuses to import it. BAD PLANNING...I was due for a new car in '06.
Please change your mind before I end up in a BMW or Porsche. When you do, here's my order:

Not until I see the real thing, I support your view Caym is freaking ugly makes me throw. I don't want a soft top , so it is hard to decide to go for a Boxter. When I heard about the Caym, I was happy because I thought I would not have to pay a fortune for a 911 (1.45 million HKD for the S here) but get a "hard top Boxter". After I look at a couple of photos of the Caym, I am very disappointed. I never own a Porsche and don't want to buy my first Porsche which does not look like a Porsche.
Now, it looks like a Japanese RX8 to me except the Cayman is more ugly than the RX8.
