Steering wheel buttons
My steering wheel buttons have almost stopped working. If I push really hard I can get the left upper buttons to work but the lower left does not work at all. Anyone have this happen to them? Any ideas so when the dealer tells me a lie I'll know it?

Had similar problem w/ my '05 C230K SS, but in my case none of the 8 switches worked at all.
But first I had an SRS warning light on. Took it to the dealer who removed the steering wheel and replaced a contact spring. SRS light then off, but switches now inop. Back to dealer who again removed wheel, replaced a second contact part, and now switches resumed working.
Frankly, it's not clear to me exactly what the original problem was and also why it wasn't fully fixed on the first try and why the switch functions weren't checked before returning the car to me.
Furthermore, when the steering wheel was replaced the second time, it was installed "off center", so I had to go back a third time to correct that.
All at no $ cost and with loaner cars - I guess the factory was charged for the parts and labor.
Anyway, that's my switches story.
I hope and think your story will be shorter - but the problem almost certainly lies in the electrical contacts under the airbag on the steering wheel.

Just bring the car back to the dealer and they'll fix it for you. They won't question you. All we care is that they take care of our problem right?!?
