Pre-emptive or Post-emptive?

Whats the best way to go with MB dealers? If I think I problem will arise should I take the car in before it gets bad or just wait and then take it in?

I think my Sun roof is getting a little loose in the fabric screen part and I also am not very happy about my shifter performance in warmer weather. Both of these problems are not in a non working state but it may be in my best interest to see if I can get them looked at before its broke

If something bothers you take it in. Thats what warranty is for. But be warned that a minor problem could turn major if an inexperienced technician is set loose on your vehicle.

my dealer is 1.5 hours away. When my cupholder broke a while back( it is stuck open) I waited till something else broke too before i took it in. The squeking sound the front of the car had was bad bushing, replaced under warrenty

if your dealer is close by...make an apointment and take it in...since you are in springfield.. i suggest taking it to arlington.. they are pretty good at service... well the best in the No. Va from what I heard...

Good thing my dealer is about 10-15 miles away ~ 15 minutes
