Question H&R spacer questions... Ugh...

Does anyone have a definate answer of whether H&R spacers of 10mm and 15mm will fit correctly on a w203 chassis? A 2003 C230 sedan to be exact.

What I originally intended to do was to put 15mm spacers up front, and 10mm spacers in the rear of my vehicle, which is running on 18x8 and 18x9 wheels with a correct offset. I have zero rubbing or clearance issues, but the wheels are too "tucked in" for my taste.

Unfortunately, after talking to a few local install shops and even H&R themselves, I was informed that there are some hub clearance issues with spacers over 9mm. However, the place that I got the spacers from, along with a few other distant install shops insist there would be no problem fitting them on the car...

Does anyone have any experience with fitting 15mm H&R spacers (part no. 3055665) in the front? 10mm (part no. 2055665) in the rear? And yes, I do have the $60 worth of longer bolts to go with these spacers...

Regards,

John

There's no definite answer for what size of spacers you need. It all depend on what kind of wheels, what's the offset and what kind of tires. The best way is to measure the gap yourself.
There's should be no problem with the hub if you buy a hubcentric spacers.
