I was thinking of just getting another factory tip and reusing the existing one...
also, where is Mesa Mufflers? thanks!

The muffler isnt that loud, but there is a little droning yet there is a lot of just sound that was never there before that is there now, but in a 'tuned' sense. Its not a loud pipe at all...thats why I kept the stock resonator, and he told me it would start sounding crazy and not so good once that was messed with. Thanks man! Im glad you love it...i've always stared at your car pics
Thanks...I need to give Russ a call. I def want the dual tip set up...and if possible keep the stock muffler. I dont know if I want a muffler any louder than the 05 stock....comparing my 04 to my gf's 05...hers a lot louder but its still acceptable. I wonder hows ur new muffler compared to the 05 stock...if you find out let us know.
$300 is such a great deal...I paid almost $100 for every tip I put on (parts and labor and all the BS)...

That is a very neat and clean install my friend. I have the exact setup with the exception of using stock muffler and different tips. Congrats on your graduation and your Bday .
Here's my tip style, for comparison.

The stock muffler on my car has dual tip fortunately so, just run the pipe exactly the same as BossMan has. If yours has single tip then i suggest splitting those hole into two left--->(|)<---Right, or if u want to spend money, get a Remus and chop the tips off. That will be my next project, just need to find used Remus muffler . My tips has a Fibre insert, it gives deeper tone on WOT, i reckon BossMan tips has a fibre insert too.

Ah man...maybe I shouldn't have posted the dual setup, now im going to see a bunch of C classes (non AMG of course) with the dual/quad setup now Well its a look that I guess only few for NOW* have and soon many WILL have haha. Glad everyone enjoys it and id like to get some vid clips up, but just dont have a camera to record.

Dual tips on C-Class are not too odd.
The first C-Class to have it was the C32 AMG Sport Coupé.
The C32 AMG Sport Sedan, has twin-tips on one side,
and it wasn't until the C55 AMG Sport Sedan, that came out with dual twin-tips (quads, as some call it).
anyway,
here's my Coupé with AMG twin-tips:

What is the part no?
- part #: there is none. Unless you want a real CL grille that won't fit, in that case check with your dealer.

Well glad to see everyone likes it. Good to hear from the guys I was hoping to get feedback from. Frank- I LOVE the new wheels and the look/setup you have. Your car is an inspiration I must say.
