Got this warning, so took it in (for the first oil change as well).

They checked it out and replaced the radiator cap and pressure tested the system and after a little coolant.

Unfortunately, 2 days after I got the car back....the warning still intermittently pops up....weird...just like every other day...under the same exact driving conditions.

I haven't seen a 203 with this problem yet, but it is common for SLKs. The coolant level sensor and windshield washer level sensor are in a series circuit. If one of the sensors malfunctions, it will throw off the resistance of the circuit and possibly cause the other light to come on. To fix this, I replace both of the sensors. This may be the same for your C-class too.

Great information, mbtech. Bagwell is now well-armed to pose educated suggestions at the service guy. That's just the kind of help we need around here. I don't have this particular problem, but it's good to have you around!
