Smartire?

Has anyone had Smartire(or similar) tire pressure monitor installed? I'm thinking of fitting my car with Dunlop SP9000 DSST run-flat tires when my car arrives and I don't think 2003 C class will offer a factory installed monitor. Thanks in advance.

Run don't walk to buy it!

I've had the 1st Gen system on my M3... will be putting the new one on my coupe when I change rubber. Highly recommended!!

At a glance, you can tell what the pressures are and not have to go around measuring each wheel weekly. Better than that, set your thresholds for alarm and forget about it!!

Get the extra display, the idiot lites on the new system don't tell enough info.

see www.tirerack.com to buy. You can have it put on pretty much wherever your wheels are mounted. The product installs on the rim.

tirerack will show you the prices. Go to www.smarttire.com to see more of the product.

I had the first gen system and it was fine. The 2nd gen seems to have smaller xmitters and a nicer display.

I still want one!
