Regardless of people complaining about the '06 C230 Sport Sedan, it will still be a great car. 201 HP is fine for some people and the 7GTRONIC transmission will be great. Not everyone cares about 0-60 times. They are more concerned about the look of the car and the price they pay. Since the '06 C230 SS is the cheapest of them all, it is very easy to enhance the look by ensuring you have Bi-Xenons and simply get the 18 inch AMG Wheels which would be on the C55 AMG. From there, the C230, C280, and C350 will look virtually identical aside from the badging.

I plan to get either the C230, C280 or C350, depending on the prices but even if I get the C230 SS I will still be content. I might even be creative with the car and debadge it so it simply reads C0. That will keep the masses guessing on whether it is the C230, C280, or C350.

Luckily the color I want is still available on the 2006 models here in Toronto Canada, which is Orion Blue. Simply add a professional heavy black tint to it, fully load the C230, change the front grill to the CLK style and you have a great car.

Once again, not everyone focuses on the 0 - 60 or the overall Horsepower.

Nevertheless, if you're happy with the C230K then that's all that matters. Whatever floats your boat, dude.

 

Interesting. I thought you had placed an order already for a C350. Did you change your mind or cancel the order?

 

I really like the AMG bodykit on the C class. If you don't get the more powerful engine, the AMG enhancements would be a must IMO.

 

Why would people ***** about the 2006 C230K SS? It sure as hell beats any other C230K SS, heh. No more four-bangers...

 

Thats alot of car for the money. Are those Bi-Xenons standard equipment now, like on the S500 models?
