I never noticed this or is just on C55???
It looks a lot better :p

A bucket on wheels
just on the c55 they both have different front ends as the c55 needs the extra lenghth for its v8

Yep, if I remember right, it's the same hood from the CLK, that's why Neal was cross posting the carbon fiber hood thing for CLK W209's and C55's.

To clarify some things:

The first 2 pics you posted are of the C55, which has a completely different front end (CLK front end) to accomodate the 5.4L V8. The grill is wider and shorter (and it doesn't go up with the hood when you open it).

The 3rd pic you posted is NOT a C55. It is a 2005 C-class sport sedan. The front end of this car is identical to all previous W203's, except that the actual grill has 3 horizontal lines, rather than 4. This is a new thing that all 2005 W203 sedans have. As such, the 2005 W203 sedans ALL have a different grill compared to 2001-2004 models.

I know that, I posted that one to compare, I just didn't know that the C55 was different :p
