M271 really is a high revving engine!
So I just got out from a mess off traffic jam on the highway,after the traffic clears on the left lane. I went WOT in 3rd gear and I held it to redline and pop it into 4th........wow what a rush~ (6 speed is awsome!)
I currently just have a K&N drop in filter (The needle climes faster after 4500RPM compare to paper filter), I think I will go ahead and order that $800 Header from SuperSprint. :p Its still no AMG, but Its still a lot of fun to drive~ I love this car

Yep 6 speed is just plain awesome. I have a m111 engine and i'm luving every second of it with the 6 speed. I do believe first gear is a little short cause i hit redline pretty quick. I recently got to drive a m3 6 speed for an entire day, and that's pretty really high revving. I wonder what mods would get the red line on the Mercedes up..

ill tell ya the car is not that fast with its 88 deg. out and the ac is on. an accord would kill you.... had it happen the other day. depressing too bet that .5 hp from a filter made all the difference....

Kleemann is about to come up with headers that DO accomodate the placement of O2 sensor bungs and cat (to pass smog inspection/emissions) although it's double the price, you won't have to mess with wiring positions, O2 sensor delete tricks and headaches down the road. It's up to you though.

One can only dream of beating a 240HP Accord in a 189HP C230 :p , but hey....whats a life without dreams..lol
