Bumper scrapes

Bumper scrapes
My bumper acquired 2 scrapes down to the surface (it's white) at the trunk lip. I have no idea how they got there, but I'd like to touch it up myself. Has anyone gotten some paint (my car's not metallic, so it should be easier) from the dealer and done that themselves? Any suggestions? I'd rather not pay for them to do it, but I'll stop by and see what they say about paint next weekend.

I recently scraped the underside of my front bumber. I went to the dealership and picked up some touchup paint. My car is black. The touchup paint was only twelve dollars. I was actually glad it happened on the underside of the bumper because I could be a bit more brazen with my application. Overall the touchup worked well considering no one would have seen it anyway. I would suggest, like I did, wet sanding the spot with some pretty fine sandpaper. I have to admit without a clear coat over the touch up it doesnt look as glossy as the stock paint. But you can also wax over it as well I guess. GL with the touch up and if you have any questions just ask.

Thanks for the response. Black is certainly a popular color for this car. I'd rather not do it myself, and will see if I can have the dealer do something for a minimal expense, or see if a knowledgable friend can help. I try to not get pissed about it - but it gets under my skin when I see it.
